Our Mission

We are sick of companies, DJs, VJs, directors and producers picking our music for us. The web is full of great music, but it’s difficult to find. Here we are looking for new music from musicians on “little” or no labels. If you know a band playing out of their basement or a right-now-nobody genius you saw at a club last night, we want to hear them.

We want to:

1. Promote bands

This means you listen to their music and go BUY their CD. Too many artists have lost control of their music. We link to the band’s website where you can hear a selection of their music. You vote and push the band up the list.

2. Give people control

We hope this site will give people control of the music they hear more than ever. They could pick the next band to get “signed.” If enough people will vote, someone will notice.

3. Hear new music

We love to listen to new music so please email us your suggestions. We’ll list the band, and you can vote for them.

4. Create a site that’s fun to visit

We hope you enjoy this site. You can vote and leave comments about your favorite bands. You can suggest new bands to show up on the site…we really just want to and want you to have fun.
